Welcome to the Skypier! In this document, we share a step-by-step instruction regarding installing our MVP as a client (VPN end-user) and a link to gather your feedback.

We have only tested it on Intel Series Mac at the moment. We will have the M-Series result soon.

Prerequisite

Please have a crypto wallet, ex. https://metamask.io/

• The transaction requires Sepolia-ETH, you may get them from the links below among others:
  • https://www.alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum-sepolia
  • https://cloud.google.com/application/web3/faucet/ethereum/sepolia

Some known bugs:

• The disconnect may "failed to disconnect" but it disconnects anyway, the UI doesn't refresh for some reason
• Please use only the Amsterdam and/or Jersey node </aside>

Getting Started

Now that you have a crypto wallet, the next step is to download and install the Skypier-VPN app!

1. Download the corresponding release for your machine on https://github.com/SkyPierIO/skypier-vpn/releases

2. Double Click to install the app, when the folder opens, drag and drop it to Application

   

3. You can close or eject the installer folder.

4. We don't have an Apple Developer certificate (yet), so you may see the follow pop-up

5. You should be able to see this page popping up on your default browser!

   

6. Once you have purchase a NFT, you could see the registered nodes on the network to connect!

   

Now that you have everything installed and running, you can purchase a subscription and start exploring the internet through one of our proxies (We only have one deployed right now, more to come soon!), you can also join us as one of our node hosts and EARN🤑*!!!*
